Student Profile: Steffanie Risinger

Steffanie Risinger selected the IU School of Medicine–Northwest campus for her first two years of training because of its problem-based learning curriculum. She had no idea the impact that decision would have on her life. For starters, she met her future husband on the first day of classes in August 2003. Then, she was paired with her clinical medicine preceptor, William Forgey, M.D. ’75, who would help shape her career path.
